Friday on its own is fabulous, but what makes it even better? New Music Friday. My Friday morning ritual includes checking out the new releases on Spotify. The past two weeks there's been a hiatus due to the holidays and although I like Christmas and New Year's, I missed having new singles, EPs, and albums at my disposal to listen to.
Having awesome music to listen to on Spotify is crucial, especially during my commute and my workouts. If I forget headphones at the gym, my life is over. Okay, I'm being melodramatic, but seriously, I might as well forget about doing cardio. I need music blasting my ear drums to get a kick-butt cardio sesh in. When I lift, I focus on my form so the gym music backdrop suffices.
Anyways, I create and update my Spotify playlists on the reg so you should go ahead and follow me! That is if any of your favorite genres are hip hop, alternative/indie, EDM/dance, pop, RnB, rock, and country. If you like other genres, such as metal or punk, get outta here. Just kidding, but you'll find that my playlists don't include any of that music.
